I've never purchased printables before. How does it work? With printable files, there is no waiting for your items to be shipped… you just download your files, print them out, and get started on your party right away! With all items labeled “INSTANT DOWNLOAD”, you can download the digital files immediately following purchase (as soon as payment clears). Simply save those files to your computer, and print them off on your home printer. If you do not have a home printer, just transfer the files on a thumb-drive and take them to a copy center such as Staples or Office Depot for printing. (*note: I do not recommend using Kinkos). No special printers or paper is needed; just white cardstock or photo paper! Need help with printing? Check out my Printing Tips here. What can I NOT do with the files?All my designs are for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes. There is absolutely no selling of the files, printouts from the files, or using any part of my files on products for resale. They are not to be shared with others (given for free or purchased) or redistributed in anyway. They are for your own personal use only. You may not copy, alter or manipulate the file, or claim as your own. The files are not to be posted on the web. All rights reserved.What's your current turnaround time for personalized items?Any items that require personalization (such as invitations or personalized artwork), my turnaround time is within 48 hours of purchase. Proofs for invitations are usually sent out in 24 hours or less.Can I edit the files on my own?Unfortunately the files cannot be edited or altered in anyway. They do not include editable fields. If you’d like to customize an item, please send me a message with your request and I will send you a quote, if there should be any additional design fees.Can text or colours be changed?In most instances, yes. Please send me a message regarding the design you are interested in and what changes you’d like made. I can then send you a quote for any additional fees if applicable.Do you offer printing services?Unfortunately I do not offer any printing or shipping services at this time, sorry.What program should I use to open and print the files?I recommend opening and printing files in Adobe Reader which can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com/reader.Do I need special paper to print on?Nope! All items in my shop are designed to be printed on white paper. All background colours and textures are part of the printed design. No fancy printers or paper are needed; just white cardstock or photo paper. For more vibrant colours, I prefer to use photo paper. If using cardstock, I’d recommend a weight of at least 100lbs. Will the colours print exactly as seen on screen?Colours will display differently from monitor to monitor. Depending on your settings, the colours of your printed product may vary slightly from what you see on your screen, but the colours should be very close.I can't find my files to downloadFiles labeled “INSTANT DOWNLOAD” are available for download anytime following purchase by clicking on “Purchases & Reviews” in your Etsy profile. Be sure to use the Etsy website (http://www.etsy.com) and NOT the mobile app, as files are not available for download via the app. If you purchase any items that require personalization (ie. invitations, thumbprint artwork, etc.), those will be sent to your email address once your file has been created.Can I use my phone or tablet to download the files?You can, but it would probably be easier to use a computer if you can. Most phones and tablets are not able to view PDF’s. You would need to download a PDF viewer app such as Adobe Reader (which you can download for free). However, if you purchase one of my “Mega Packs”, the files come as .ZIP files, which again, cannot be extracted on a phone without the aid of a third party app. To extract the ZIP files, you can download iZip.Can I download my files more than once?Absolutely! The link to your downloads will never expire, so you can download them whenever you want and however many times you may need. You can find your files at any time by clicking on “Purchases & Reviews” in your Etsy profile.I can't find the file(s) you sent me via emailBe sure to check in your “junk” or “spam” folder. Many times that is where it will be if you cannot find it in your inbox. If you can’t find it there either, just send me a message and I will forward the email to you again 🙂Do you offer refunds?Due to the nature of instant downloads, I unfortunately do not offer refunds. Once your files have been downloaded, there are no cancellations. However, if you have purchased an item that requires personalization (such as an invite), and I have not yet started on your order, a refund can be issued.
